SkyHigh Paragliding Club provides its website to you subject to the following terms and conditions. By visiting the website you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, please read them carefully.
- Definition of SkyHigh Paragliding Club.
SkyHigh Paragliding Club is an Incorporated Association (number AA0021587A), incorporated in Victoria as a not for profit organisation. We originally incorporated on August 30 1990. We are affiliated with the Hang Gliding Federation of Australia (HGFA) through the Victorian Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association (VHPA)
- Site Usage and Membership
In order to register on the site you must:
- Be capable of forming a legally binding contract; and
- Hold a valid email address.
To be a flying member of the club you must hold an appropriate Paragliding Licence issued by the HGFA, and therefore have an HGFA number. You must also pay the appropriate club membership fee as it becomes due.
You agree not to attempt to, or assist another person to, circumvent, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise tamper with any of the security components related to the website for any reason whatsoever. You shall not access or attempt to access any user account of a third party, or any part of the website that you are otherwise not authorised to access. You agree not to modify the website in any manner or form, for any purposes including obtaining unauthorized access to the Website. Violations of system or network security may result in civil or criminal liability.
All information that we collect is held in confidence. We do not sell or trade this data to outside companies. We only uses this information to provide you with services related to our club.
- Your Account Access.
When using the Website you will be required to set a password, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your username or password. At the sole discretion of the club committee, we reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove, edit or cancel posts and messages.
- Updating or Deleting your Personal Information.
You can help us to maintain the accuracy of your information by notifying us of any change to your address, phone number or email address. If at any time you wish to update your personal information or you would like your personal information removed from our files, you can do so by logging in to your account and changing your details.
- Terms and Conditions Modification.
The SkyHigh Club Committee reserves the right to change and modify these terms and conditions by written notice to you (which may expressly include a notice posted on or to the Website) at any time, and your continued use of this website will be conditional upon the terms and conditions in force at the time of your use.
Paragliding is a dangerous activity which may lead to death or serious injury and incapacitation. Nothing on this site should be construed as implying that paragliding is a safe activity, or that it is safe to fly at a given location and time.
Club members must accept full responsibility for their decision to fly at a given time and location, taking into account their equipment suitability, their skill and experience, and the prevailing weather and site conditions.
Remember it is always better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air rather than in the air wishing you were on the ground.
