We stay at the Yea Fishing Club grounds located on the Golburn river. For those that have not been before, the fishing club has toilets, showers, a kitchen and recreation room, barbeques and an outdoor fire place. Lots of room to camp and I think there is even some powered sites if you have a caravan. We have this all to ourselves and the more that turn up, the cheaper it gets.
You will need to bring your own tent, van or car to sleep in as there is no sleeping permitted in the rec room. We will be having a BBQ on Saturday night but we will organise that on the day. The flying will be at Mt. Broughton (preferred), Three Sisters. Landscape or perhaps The Paps. We plan to meet on Saturday morning but we will decide exactly where to meet on Thursday night before.
The fishing club is on the Ghin Ghin Rd where it crosses the Golburn river. To get there from Yea follow the Seymour Rd for about 3km then turn right into Ghin Ghin Rd. Follow Ghin Ghin Rd. for another 5km or so to where it crosses the Golburn river. You can't miss the one lane bridge. Its there on the right. Bring your fishing rod, mountain bike or anything else you like.
